Clinical Psychologist Session Job at Gauteng Department of Health

Requirements :

• Master's degree in clinical psychology and registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as independent Clinical Psychologist and a proof of current registration.
• Grade 1: No experience required after registration as a Clinical Psychologist.

Duties :

• Provide clinical psychological service within the hospital including but not limited to psychological assessment for psychodiagnostics purposes, treatment planning and psychotherapeutic interventions to in-patients and out-patients.
• Provide psychological reports when required, participate in awareness campaigns and work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. Perform administrative duties, maintain accurate patients records and unit statistics.
• Participate in continuous professional development programms in the psychology department.
