Job Description
- Set-up CNC machines, including loading of programs, setting tool offsets and adjusting machine parameters
- Verify CNC programs to ensure accuracy and correctness before running the machine
- Operate CNC Machines, monitor the machining process and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Troubleshoot machine errors, identify problems, and take corrective actions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machines
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Relevant Trade Qualifications

- Strong understanding of CNC machines and CNC programming languages
- Ability to troubleshoot and understand mechanical systems
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to work with team members, line managers, suppliers and customers
- Ability to lift material, stand for longer periods and work in a fast-paced environment
