Co-Ordinator (Asset Management) needed at eThekwini Municipality

Key Responsibility Areas

• Identification of work orders with the Enterprise Asset Management System (e.g. ellipse) where scoping is required.
• Attend the weekly work planning and control meetings.
• Utilising previous electrical reticulation experience to support project tasks as required.
• Support the updating of Standards/ Codes of Practice.
• Actively support and promote safety and accident prevention.
• Responsible for the management of technical information.
• Accept appointment in terms of the Occupational Health & Safety act (1993) and regulations, as required by the Head Electricity.
• Undertake other related duties.

Essential Requirements

• Trade Tested Artisan (Electrician).
• In possession of a NTC2 or NCV3 in Electrical Engineering from a Further Education and
• Training College registered with the Department of Education.
• Must be trained in First Aid or obtain within 6 months as condition of appointment.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license
• 3 years relevant post apprenticeship experience in electricity distribution and transmission industry.

Preferred Requirements

• 4 years relevant post apprenticeship experience in electrical distribution and transmission supply.
