Job Purpose
- To ensure the secure transportation, loading, and offloading of seafood products in accordance with instructions, while upholding food safety, quality standards, and timely deliveries.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric or equivalent.
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s license with no endorsements.
- Experience needed: Experience with cold store trucks advantageous.
- 3-5 years proven track record operating a truck in compliance with the relevant Code 14 requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical and safety compliance
- Drive safely and adhere to road regulations
- Maintain the security of goods in transit
- Follow scheduled delivery routes and times
- Ensure delivery notes and invoices are accurately completed
- Comply with customer and supplier delivery area protocols
- Uphold Food Safety and Quality procedures at all times
- Assist with manual loading/offloading of stock when required
- Immediately report any delays or inability to meet delivery targets to the line manager
