Cold Chain Assessor-066-074 – Montague Gardens Job at PPECB

Main Purpose:

• To independently conduct cold chain services according to standards protocol, work instructions and procedures as prescribed through PPECB’s legislative mandate.

High level Objectives: 

• To ensure service delivery to clients in line with the organisations regulatory mandate. 
• To ensure compliance with the BMS, ISO 9001 and all relevant legislation, policies and procedures. 
• To ensure completeness of income
• To ensure compliance to Human Capital policies and procedures. 
• To ensure effective Risk Management. 

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the perishable-export logistical chain 
• Experience in PPECB cold chain disciplines; with minimum of 65 credits, that is 50 credits for cold chain technical skills & 15 credits for soft skills (I-Thrive). 

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of relevant legislation 
• Knowledge of perishable-export industry 
• Knowledge of policies and procedures; 
• Product and technical knowledge 
• Systems and process knowledge 
• Knowledge of risk management
• Must be able to travel locally and nationally as and when the job requires him/her to do so
• Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable car.
• Must be in good health
