Cold Store Manager – Mafikeng needed at Country Bird Holdings Ltd

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• A tertiary qualification will be advantageous
• Knowledge of Syspro, Translution, Chep, Tereoka & Afrisoft quiry will be advantageous
• Minimum of 1 year performing the functions of a Cold Store/Logistics Manager
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Good health as the working environment is in a cold store
• Be able to motivate a team
• Experience in IR matters
• Be able to execute discipline within the workplace

Duties and Responsibilities

• Checking of daily loading schedule to ensure all trucks are utilised 100%
• Scheduling and coordinating trucks with Transport company, as and when needed
• Ensuring good housekeeping at all times
• Daily inspections of the holding room and loading area, and reporting of any deviations
• Ensuring trucks are loaded correctly
• Ensuring all cold storage files are up to date
• Ensuring Invocom meetings are being done and being filed, weekly
• Management of team members.
