Commercial and Operations Lead needed at Snatch.work

• We’re seeking an ambitious and strongly commercially minded Commercial and Operations Lead interested in joining a super-fast-growing supplier of food products in the Malmesbury Region, Western Cape.
• Despite being really large, the company is family-owned and places a huge premium on traditional values such as humility and respect.
• This opportunity is based in the countryside of the Western Cape and is ideal for someone looking to relocate from the city to a quieter, more serene lifestyle. It is also a Senior Leadership role within the organisation, and reports directly to the CEO and CFO.
• The company is strongly considering candidates with non-traditional operational backgrounds, such as CAs, CGMAs, Industrial Engineers, etc, who have a strong passion for Operations and Commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead all Operations Departments –  Production, Stores, Maintenance, Distribution, Health and Safety; Maintenance.
• Drive and ensure safety, quality, productivity, and profitability targets and standards are met.
• Manage all HR related issues within Operations.
• Ensure processes and SOPs are followed and relevant.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Business/Finance, and/or Accounting.
• The company is open to training up a strong CA(SA), CGMA, or Industrial Engineer who has a passion for operations, production, and commerce.
• High-level leadership and management experience/abilities are non-negotiable.
