Key Outcomes
- Perform evaluations, analysis and present reports in support of remaining competitive within the business environment

- Assist with Data & Analytics Use Case creation and evaluation
- Understand the data landscape around profitability reporting including organisation and product taxonomy, hierarchies, source system landscape and data flows
- Assist with Data & Analytics Use Case development and evaluation and consequent review to ensure delivery of benefits, aligned to financial principles that are consistent with Woolworths’ accounting principles.
- Preferably a relevant business diploma / degree (Retail business management/BCom/Clothing management/BScience/BA)
- 3-5 years planning experience
- Extensive Retail knowledge
- Technically strong merchandising skills
- High attention to detail
- Merchant and retail ability: demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the market place, competitors and customer needs
- Knowledge of business IT systems (including Forecasting and Replenishment, RMS etc)
- Knowledge of Product lead times to formulate a working critical path
- Ability to formulate strategies and implement shorter-term tactical plans that are cost – effective efficient and realistic
- Analytical and interpretative ability
- Business acumen: an understanding of basic business processes and how sales are generated and the ability to achieve these goals
- Computer literate: advanced Excel Skills and ability to operate in a Windows based environment
