Community Development Practitioner Grade 1 Job at Limpopo Department of Social Development

REQUIREMENTS :

• An appropriate qualification at NQF 6 or equivalent qualification in Development Studies / Diaconiology / Social Sciences / Community Development / Sociology / Anthropology / Population Studies / Demography as recognized by SAQA. Valid motor vehicle driver’s licence (with the exception of persons with disabilities).

DUTIES :

• Identify and facilitate the implementation of integrated community development interventions in partnership with the community and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate and liaise with pertinent role players and stakeholders to establish partnerships to ensure the sustainability of development actions within the community. Support communities and perform administrative support on community development and related activities. Keep abreast of new developments in the community development field to enhance service delivery.
