Community Sport Coordinator (3-Year Contract in Overberg District) Ref No. CAS 08/2025 needed at Western Cape Government

Job Purpose    

• The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for four (4) competent individuals to provide support in the implementation and monitoring of leagues and clubs. 

Minimum Requirements    

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification); A minimum of 1 year experience in sport administration and club development; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

Key Performance Areas    

• Maintain records of registered and supported leagues and clubs; Data collection; Provide support to federations that are in the Club Development Programme; Monitoring and reporting monthly and quarterly.

• A good understanding of the following: Procurement processes (SCM); Club Development programme; Information management; Sport Federations and Sport Councils; Skills needed: Proven computer literacy (MS Office); Written and verbal communication; Report writing; Interpersonal; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
