  • As a Compliance Monitoring and Assurance Officer you’ll be supporting and assisting with the creation of internal operational procedures and policies, as well as providing incident management to internal departments by assisting 3rd party service providers with the investigation and resolution of software technical covering. This will help us excel at identifying project requirements and assisting with key compliance deliverables to stay ahead of the game.

What you’ll be doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and analysing information received from various stakeholders and make appropriate recommendations.
  • In-depth analysis of data to assist with technical resolution.
  • Developing strong relationships across stakeholder groups, manage requests and ensure key deliverables are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Assisting with the internal audit of the business to ensure that the KYC, AML processes and procedures are being followed.
  • Assisting with successful implementation of new and revised processes and/or regulatory requirements Compliance procedures.
  • Assist with review and compilation of training material, such as AML, Data Protection and ERM.
  • Review compliance of policies and procedures with regulatory requirement.
  • Ensure adequate training is available to cover all procedures required for compliance. Act as Compliance consultant for training department and sign off on training material.
  • Review training attendance registers for service providers to ensure SLA’s are followed.
  • Where necessary, conduct training.
  • Assist with drafting of procedure documentation.

  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
  • Experience in data analysis and efficiently identify & mitigate risk to business
  • Ability to quickly process information in order to appropriately determine whether regulatory or business objectives have been met
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Basic MS Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated capability to accurately identify and engage with control owners and reviewers in adherence to regulatory requirements
  • 12 months of proven experience in an AML, risk management, or compliance role.
  • Proficiency in conducting assurance activities and evaluating the effectiveness of policies, processes, and procedures.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
  • Degree educated in a related discipline
  • Experience of working in Legal, Compliance, research
  • Experience or knowledge of the online gambling industry
  • Experience working on a ERM system.
