Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the collection of food stock from stores and ensures documentation is completed properly.
- Cook and prepare presentation of food to be served, according to standards, under the direction of the Chef de Partie (ICC) or Sous Chef (Newton’s).
- Ensure kitchen preparation areas and equipment are cleaned according to standards.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Grade 12 and Food preparation certificate with one – two years’ experience in cookery / cheffing
- Diploma in Cookery will be advantageous
