JOB PURPOSE

  • The primary job of a Sales Consultant is to sell products or services to new customers. The person employs solution-based sales techniques to find out what potential customers need or want and suggests products or services that effectively address their needs. Sales Consultants generate more sales by constantly generating new sales leads. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Sales  

  • Lead demand-generating sales activities in the assigned market for the assigned product or service.
  • Pipeline Management
  • Prepare and present proposals
  • Achievement of the annual revenue/sales target.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Management

  • Achievement of the annual revenue/sales target.
  • Convert leads to sales (billable clients) 
  • Research and pursue new business opportunities
  • Provide new clients with the best possible solution to cater for the needs.
  • Pass existing customers to the Account Managers (Farmers) if contacted by an existing client.
  • To check accuracy of quotes.
  • Source and distribute relevant thought leadership and marketing material to potential customers.
  • Attract new relationships with new customers by supporting collaborative sales efforts. 
  • Collaborate with the One-Altron group of Companies to leverage opportunities in our chosen industries.
  • Actively drive and follow through on qualified opportunities.
  • Build a healthy pipeline – focus on the prospects to close them.
  • Drive collaboration across industries and service lines, including collaboration, performance, cross and upsell opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and formulate plans to expedite sales
  • Monitor competitor activity
