Content Marketing Coordinator Job Duties:
- Manage all campaigns & budgets with Sony Pictures, Film Finity, Empire Independent, Gravel Road and other independent film studio to create & execute marketing plans that adhere to the business strategy of driving ticket sales.
- Support the Content Marketing Manager & Content Marketing Officer with all movie content campaigns with an understanding of target markets & the company business strategy.
- Liaise with Scheduling & Content with regards to Select, Bollywood and other film content. Plan, conceptualize & execute full 360 marketing plans on film content.
- Monitor market share, forecasts and budgets on each title
- Work with all the various departments (F&B, Group Sales, Media Sales, B2B, Operations, Customer Experience) to ensure commercial agenda of the broader business is aligned
- Work with the marketing team to ensure there is a focused strategy to build the emerging marketing base.
- Manage all competitions with relevant parties (legal, design team, etc). Ensure all legal requirements are approved with each campaign
- Manage premieres, events and activations (sometimes after hours). Work closely with the films studios, events teams and Ops to ensure execution is seamless.
- Negotiate with ATL media & promotional partners to maximize marketing campaigns
- Work closely with the Content Marketing Assistant on Prestige Premieres & other seasonal promotions in the premiumization space – including IMAX. Work closely with Sales to secure sponsorship partners to enhance the experience for customers.
- Briefing in of artwork to the design studio, sending to the film studios for approval and placement on all Ster-Kinekor and other assets
- Approving of press releases on these campaigns
- Work with CRM team to ensure movie collateral is optimally used within the digital and online environment and, where feasible, studios support CRM marketing initiatives
- A collaborative relationship with all the various marketing teams (regional, Clubs, CRM, social media, digital, PR, brand) is essential to ensure marketing plans are co-delivered.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with strategic partners (such as Edgars, Discovery, Standard Bank) to include screenings, exclusive promotions to drive acquisitions and attendances for each partner.
- Third party promotional partners to include media spend / budget / value to highlight campaign
- Ensure all invoices for film studios are done accurately and timeously
- Generate PO numbers for various marketing campaigns
- Order movie vouchers and catering vouchers when required
Qualifications:
- Diploma/ Degree in Marketing
Experience and Knowledge of:
- 1 – 2 Years of experience as a marketing assistant
Skills and knowledge:
- Understanding of marketing principles
- Knowledge of Infoworks & extrapolating necessary data
- Project / campaign management skills
- Events and activation knowledge
- Basic planning, organizing & control skills encompassing the ability to plan, schedule, prioritize, focus and keep others informed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong inter-personal skills (ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to deliverables
