YOUR ROLE 

  • We are looking for a Contract Logistics BPE Engineer for our Cape Town Branch,
  • You will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements within our warehouse operations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • You will work closely with warehouse managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to streamline processes.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

  • Conduct process analysis and identify areas for improvement within warehouse operations.
  • Develop and implement process improvement plans that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with warehouse managers and supervisors to ensure processes are optimized for efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to track the success of process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to warehouse staff to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure process improvements are integrated across the organization.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate warehouse processes to ensure ongoing optimization.
  • Be compliance with any CEVA Business Rules and Core Values.
  • Perform other duties as required.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or business process improvement.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, contract logistics, and industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements by using data-driven methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping tools.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, both domestically and internationally
