Contract Officer needed at Mnquma Local Municipality

POSITION: CONTRACT OFFICER

• POST LEVEL: GRADE 11
• DURATION: PERMANENT
• REMUNERATION : (R469 940.49 – R531 935.30) PER ANNUM

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• B.com in Supply Chain Management or Logistics/Cost and Management Accounting/ Bcom Law
• 0-2 years’ experience
• Driver’s Licence

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Liaising with service providers in relation with their contracts.
• Create and maintain contracts register electronically in an alphabetical manner. Facilitating the signing of contracts by both parties.
• Liaising with contracted service provider relating to expiry, cancelation or termination of the agreements.
• Reconcile expenditure in line with contracts.
• Verify compliance of documents submitted for bid by service providers. Compiling verification report for service providers.
• Assessing and advising on regular or irregular contracts. Compile and update irregular register.
