You will support sales activities by applying technical expertise to customer processes while ensuring safe, effective, and reliable chemical applications that enhance customer operations.
Qualifications:
- Degree or National Diploma in Pulp and Paper, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Chemical Engineering (essential).
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 6 months’ relevant technical sales experience
- Preferably in the Paper industry is an advantage.
- Advanced technical report writing and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.
- Strong organisational skills with a disciplined, structured work ethic.
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, and comfortable working with business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply chemicals accurately in pulping, bleaching, boiler water, cooling water, and other process systems.
- Conduct laboratory and on-site chemical evaluations, interpreting data to optimise performance.
- Ensure continuity of chemical supply, including delivery coordination and housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to customer compliance standards, ensuring safe, effective, and reliable plant operations.
- Manage budgets and administration accurately.
- Support and improve SHERQ performance, achieving sales targets while minimising risk.
