RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Performance areas

Operational

• Responsible for receiving all goods into stores in line with approved purchase order
• Responsible for receipting of goods received into Procurement system for inventory management
• Allocation of inventory into correct storeroom locator
• Allocation of inventory to asset register
• Ensure that all new goods are received and properly safeguarded in the new inventory storeroom
• Ensure that all used goods are received and properly safeguarded in the used inventory storeroom
• Ensure that all used goods are allocated and dispatched for refurbishment
• Ensure that all internal requisitions are acknowledged and processed within the TATs
• Ensure that all transfers out of inventory (new and used) are appropriately dispatched and documented in asset register (PODs)
• Replenish minimum stock levels (create purchase order, receipting)
• Conduct monthly stock counts and reporting on stock levels, anomalies and investigate variances (new & used storerooms)
• Conduct monthly reconciliation between physical inventory and asset register, goods issued and received (new & used storerooms)
• Update waybill details in asset register (per item) for outbound
• Receive and manage equipment from cancelled services

Storeroom

• Ensure storeroom is clean and organized

Office Administration

• Ensure that all documents (POD’s and Delivery Sheets) are filed and easily accessible for audits
• Provide necessary documents to Auditors when required
• Responsible for printing and dispatching asset tags with all MTN Business owned equipment
• Assist with SAB and manage storage for the phones
• Assist with dispatching of phones to the SAB team and making sure that they are kept in the safe locked-up room.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 

• Matric

Experience:

• At least 1 year inventory management or service delivery management experience.
