Cost Accountant needed at Snatch.work

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join a fast growing manufacturing company, and supplier to the FMCG market, to be based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cost analysis and reporting for manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain cost standards for raw materials, labour, and overhead.
• Monitor and analyze inventory variances, wastage, and production inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with the production and finance teams to develop and implement cost control measures.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports, including variance analysis and financial forecasts.
• Support the budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Professional Accountant (SA) or CGMA or Cost Accountant or similar.
• At least 3+ years relevant work experience in fruit/food/manufacturing industry is ideal
• Experience in cost accounting is highly beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
