CPD Data Intern needed at Syngenta

Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE 

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical CPD Data Intern to support the data management and reporting functions within Crop Protection Development. This role is crucial for processing and analysing data from field trials and other sources to inform product development and strategy. The ideal candidate will be passionate about agricultural science and skilled in data handling and reporting.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE

• Gain practical, hands-on experience by contributing to real business projects that impact Syngenta’s operations and strategic objectives.
• Develop professional competencies by working alongside experienced colleagues across different functions and teams.

Qualifications

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture or B. Agric) or equivalent
• Have strong academic performance and motivation 
• Proficiency in data analysis, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong language skills (Afrikaans and English).
• Agriculture understanding/exposure is beneficial for technical understanding.
