Main job purpose

  • To monitor and control the debtors accounts to ensure that payments are made in accordance with the Group credit policy and procedures.

Main Objective

  • To check and allocate payments correctly according to customer remittances in order for debtor’s accounts to be accurate and up to date.
  • To monitor, investigate and ensure payments are made by the customer timeously in order to control overdue accounts in all debtors functional areas; (A-Zs, Digicall, Consolidated, COD’s). 
  • To ensure that all customer statements, invoices with supporting documents are sent to the customer timeously.
  • To administer and control the digital collection process (recon).
  • To facilitate the handover of accounts to legal.
  • To ensure adherence to the refunds and overpayments process so as to support business administration.
  • Administration, data management and filing.
  • To adhere to the month-end process and to ensure debtors accounts accuracy.
  • To adhere to and assist with the Financial year end process and audits by providing relevant and accurate information.
  • To adhere to any other reasonable work related instructions/tasks/activities issued by management.   

Critical job requirements
Qualification(s)

  • Grade 12
  • Diploma in Creditor Control Management (or equivalent)
