What we are looking for…

  • We are looking for a proactive, diligent individual to join our Acquisitions team as a Customer Care Consultant. This role includes but is not limited to following a workflow process; liaising with and converting leads into firm prospects over the phone, email, WhatsApp and SMS.
  • This role is a critical function within our Acquisitions department, so being target driven and able to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment is crucial to success in this role. You will be involved in various projects as and when needed, giving you an exciting opportunity to learn and expand your skills and abilities.

Required Duties

  • Follow workflow procedures
  • Liaise with customers telephonically and via email, WhatsApp and SMS
  • Accurately filter acquisitions leads acquisitions to ensure tangible prospects
  • Retain/convert existing and prospective customers
  • Build relationships with customers so that they trust the brand
  • Support to other areas of the department where required
  • General Expectations
  • Provide an 11- star customer service experience (convenient, transparent, professional)
  • Quickly assimilate new information and concepts
  • Operate under pressure during peak periods
  • Continuously assess and challenge the systems and processes to improve these
  • Follow processes ensuring utmost cost/effort efficiency and professionalism
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Clearly communicate with your customers to educate and guide throughout the process
  • Make decisions in ambiguous situations; and
  • Know when to ask for help

Minimum requirements

  • 2 Years’ prior experience in customer service role that included telephonic communications (Required)
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • No criminal record
  • Excellent communications skills (spoken & written)
  • English and Afrikaans, spoken and written
  • 3rd additional language advantageous
  • Proficient in use of modern technology & systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to be empathetic with customers
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Target Driven Individual
  • Knowledge abouts cars is not a must- but will be advantageous to the role
