Responsibilities
Purpose of the Role:

  • To support the Distribution Centre (DC) testing team in validating operational processes, systems, and infrastructure prior to full-scale launch. Interns will assist in testing workflows, documenting outcomes, identifying inefficiencies, and providing feedback to improve DC readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in end-to-end testing of DC processes.
  • Assist in validating system functionality
  • Document test results, anomalies, and improvement suggestions.
  • Support data collection and analysis for process optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Attend daily stand-ups and contribute to feedback loops.
  • Assist in training simulations and onboarding readiness assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols during testing.

Qualifications
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:

  • A Degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic data analysis tools.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Advantageous:

  • Exposure to warehouse or supply chain environments.
  • Familiarity with WMS or ERP systems.
  • Participation in learnerships or work readiness programmes.
