DC Supervisor – Jewellery_ Logistics needed at TFG

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a team within the Distribution Centre
• Monitor and measure the quality of all work performed by the team
• Managing all administrative tasks link to the dispatch department. (All reports)
• Direct work of employees to ensure that accuracy, speed, cost and compliance targets within
• the Distribution Centre are achieved
• Maintain department lead-time
• Workforce planning.
• Attend departmental meetings
• Productivity reporting (KPIs and lead time)
• Validate all carton adjustments
• Improving processes within the department
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, BOP
• Must be a team player
• Conduct hearings and enquiries
• Assist with departmental HR issues
• Investigate and report all shorts and overs within 48hrs

Qualifcation and Experience:

• Grade 12 (Matric), Post-matric qualification in logistics & warehouse management/Supervisor development program/supply chain management/ retail business management advantageous
• Experience in Distribution Centre /warehousing
• Proven experience in managing a team – (minimum of 2 years)
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with persons at all levels across departments/trading divisions
•  Must be prepared to work under pressure, extra hours & Shifts
•  Knowledge on Stock and Cycle Counts
