Our client is a UK based company that provides foreign exchange payment services to corporate and personal clients. The company has over 20 branches located in London, Spain, France, Portugal, USA, South Africa and India. They focus on simple money transfer, at the best exchange rates possible.

Requirements

• +2 years experience in a similar position
• NQF 6 qualification or a succession plan in place to achieve the qualification with 12 months
• Ability to multitask
• Have a strong mathematical understanding
• Keen interest in global and local events and economics
• Understand and communicate market moves
• Have the communication skills to be able to converse with clients
• Have the negotiation skills to be able to converse with clients
• Have the confidence to talk to high-net-worth individuals regarding the market and global events

Responsibilities

• Manage a client base:
• Fielding calls and emails from clients regarding rate indications and market updates
• Booking deals, ensuring that these deals are correctly recorded on the systems
• Client to understand the terms and conditions regarding;
• Payment/submission of invoice/beneficiary details
• Ensuring that the company’s procedures are adhered to, as per the Dealer Handbook
• Proactively manage your specific client base:
• Understanding your clients’ needs and trading patterns
• Phoning clients regarding non trading or change in trading patterns
• Market movements and how this will affect the clients (Import & Export payments)
• Helping out other team members that are on leave or away from their desks
• Compile the client market update (Daily Mailer) and present this to the staff in the morning
• Ability to be Self starte
