Description
- A vacancy exists for a Debtors Clerk (Fixed-Term Contract), reporting to Patient Administration Manager. The successful candidates will maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards and assist in day-to-day compilation and completion of financial debtor activities as required.
Critical Outputs
- Reconcile medical aid remittance advice and follow up on short payments.
- Recover outstanding debt from patients and medical aids, actively managing debtors age.
- Send out statements to Medical Aids and patients timeously.
- Filing and distribution of all documentation and monitor accuracy of patient accounts.
- Accurate processing of patient payments and authorized adjustments.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- 3 years’ experience in a similar position in healthcare
- Computer proficient.
