Debtors Clerk (TG 7) needed at Durban ICC

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Diploma in Accounting and or Financial Management is essesntial 
• Three (3) years’ relevant experience in a high pressured environment (with a company size turnover great than R100 million) 
• Experience with the MFMA requirements.

KEY PERFORMANCE / MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE 

• Administer Accounts Receivable Ledgers 
• Administer Debtors Age Analysis 
• Follow up on client deposits in terms of collection of monies due pre-event, including follow-ups of established payments within the sales contract 
• Process deposits and refunds on the speed point machine provided that all relevant supporting documents and authorisations from the bank have been received 
• Allocate cash deposits into cash book in the ERP system 
• Follow up on unresolved reconciling items in Creditor’s Payment Group collected
• Ensure that the debt age analysis schedule is circulated to senior management on a monthly basis 
• Accurately record parking income on a daily basis 
• Assist with speed point technical/software-related issues 
• Assist with the cash book and bank reconciliations 
• Assist with the Point of Sale revenue processing 
• Provide assistance to management in the compilation and analysis of data/reports This includes, but is not limited to: 
• Debtors ageing report 
• Quarterly finance committee reports 
• Assisting with cash float counts when required
