Key Performance Areas:
- Develop and lead the technology strategy to oversee the use of new technology for the FSCA.
- Establish a technological vision for the FSCA and lead the FSCA’s technological development.
- Establish and communicate requirements for acquiring technology applications, services systems and equipment; negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
- Participates in the process of managing the FSCA’s innovation procedure, starting at the initial stage of ideation, to its final stage of successful implementation.
- Lead the product and engineering teams on the development of new products and on product enhancements and redesigns.
- Develop, track and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations.
- Build solid and long-lasting relationships with all stakeholders and our Senior Management team.
- Communicate with employees and stakeholders to ensure the FSCA’s technologies are developed and used appropriately and optimally.
- Collaborate with the business owners and the CIO to understand business needs and ensure technology solutions align with those needs.
- Enable executive management to embrace newer and innovative technologies and help steer the FSCA towards better efficiencies and performance by adopting new tools.
Requirements
- A BSC/ Bcom in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent related field; with at least 10 years’ relevant experience in driving product development and transforming ICT Services for Business of which 5 years must be at management level.
- The candidate must demonstrate experience in driving enterprise architecture ambitions, developing technology strategies for organizations, and leading software engineering teams for digital capability development.
