Design Internship needed at Energy Capital & Power

• We are seeking two talented and enthusiastic Design Interns to join our creative team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced design environment.
• You will support the design team with day-to-day tasks, assist with various projects from social media graphics to large-format print materials, and contribute creative ideas while learning from experienced designers.

Job Description

• Support designers and senior designers with updates and changes to briefs and design projects.
• Create and edit graphics, social media posts, digital ads, and marketing materials across various platforms.
• Assist in developing presentations, mock-ups, concept visuals, and campaign assets.
• Prepare designs for print and digital outputs, ensuring correct formatting and brand consistency.
• Adapt and resize artwork for multiple channels, including social media, web, and large-format prints.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and maintain cohesive branding across all materials.
• Organize design files and adhere to workflow, version control, and production processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media Design, or a related field.
• Must submit a design portfolio showcasing your work (applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or other Adobe Creative Suite tools is advantageous.
• Understanding of both digital and print design principles, including large-format print specifications.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual composition.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team, and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Availability to work full-time during the internship period.
