Development Co-Ordinator needed at TWK Agri

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Development Coordinator to join the Enterprise Development team at TWK Agri. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the administration and implementation of a range of socio-economic and enterprise development initiatives of the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide continuous assistance to various community projects.
• Oversee the administrative aspects of projects enrolled under TWK and Vumbuka Trust initiatives, ensuring efficiency and adherence to set timelines
• Implementation of socio-economic and enterprise development projects and initiatives
• Facilitate constructive engagements between the community, government stakeholders and TWK, fostering strong relationships and collaborative efforts
• Promote TWK and its products by actively participating in farmers’ days, educational meetings, and other relevant forums to expand the market presence
• Ensure the continuity of positive relationships between the Municipality, local community, and TWK, fostering a harmonious and collaborative environment

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in socio-economic-, enterprise – or agricultural development or related project management
• Understanding of the challenges faced by communities and/or smallholder farmers especially around the Mkhondo municipal area
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies and local communities
• Fluent in English and isiZulu
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
