Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Trade Test Certificate (non-negotiable)
  • Relevant Master training/qualification is advantageous
  • Premium brand experience is preferable
  • Valid SA Driver’s License
  • Clear criminal record
  • Motivated and target-driven with a solid track record
  • Proven experience as a diagnostic technician, preferably with luxury brands. 

Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair all vehicles booked into the dealership
  • Diagnose and report findings accurately
  • Maintain and update diagnostic tools
  • Request relevant and correct parts from parts sales executive
  • Notify management of any service-related issues
  • Check in customers and follow up with clients
  • Update job cards with accurate and detailed information on service/repairs
  • Plan and order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
  • Plan production efficiently
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
  • Maintain good communication with head office and customers
  • Follow up with customers after service
