Digital Specialist & Social Media Specialist Job Duties:
- Assist with digital asset requirements from studio and disemminating assets the broader team to ensure the organisations website and App has the correct assets loaded.
- Assist the broader marketing team with required communications and advise on digital marketing options.
- Assist with gathering stats and information for monthly and MANCO reports.
- Manage the company’s website and App content ensuring marketing assets are loaded timeously and updated.
- Manage all studio assets and marketing assets ensuring marketing assets are available for paid and organic campaigns.
- Work closely with the marketing team to devise a digital and social media content strategy that aligns with the company’s wider goals.
- Creation of content marketing calendar to ensure regular content on the website throughout the year.
- Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites.
- Assisting the Brand Marketing Manager with copywriting.
- Manage the creation of entertaining and informative video content for the website in collaboration with in-house designers and agency.
- Updating all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Managing social media ad performance and monitoring web traffic.
- Identify new opportunities to generate leads and boost conversions.
- Producing and monitoring the external and internal advertising schedules.
- Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring activities of competitor websites.
- Conceptualise and assist with internal online media campaigns.
- Conceptualise and assist with the organization’s external online media campaigns including influencer campaigns.
- Ensure Performance agreement is signed off with the –Brand Marketing Manager
Qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communication
Experience and Knowledge of:
- 3-5 years working experience as an Account Executive at an Agency or digital content coordinator
- Experience in social media content management and influencer marketing campaigns
- Knowledge on drafting briefs
Skills:
- Excellent written & verbal skills in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse departments and groups
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Content creation and scheduling
- Community Management (added advantage)
- Blog/copy writing (added advantage).
