Digital Specialist & Social Media Specialist Job Duties:

  • Assist with digital asset requirements from studio and disemminating assets the broader team to ensure the organisations website and App has the correct assets loaded.
  • Assist the broader marketing team with required communications and advise on digital marketing options.
  • Assist with gathering stats and information for monthly and MANCO reports.
  • Manage the company’s website and App content ensuring marketing assets are loaded timeously and updated.
  • Manage all studio assets and marketing assets ensuring marketing assets are available for paid and organic campaigns.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to devise a digital and social media content strategy that aligns with the company’s wider goals.
  • Creation of content marketing calendar to ensure regular content on the website throughout the year.
  • Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites.
  • Assisting the Brand Marketing Manager with copywriting.
  • Manage the creation of entertaining and informative video content for the website in collaboration with in-house designers and agency.
  • Updating all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Managing social media ad performance and monitoring web traffic.
  • Identify new opportunities to generate leads and boost conversions.
  • Producing and monitoring the external and internal advertising schedules.
  • Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring activities of competitor websites.
  • Conceptualise and assist with internal online media campaigns.
  • Conceptualise and assist with the organization’s external online media campaigns including influencer campaigns.
  • Ensure Performance agreement is signed off with the –Brand Marketing Manager

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communication

Experience and Knowledge of:

  • 3-5 years working experience as an Account Executive at an Agency or digital content coordinator
  • Experience in social media content management and influencer marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge on drafting briefs

Skills:

  • Excellent written & verbal skills in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse departments and groups
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Content creation and scheduling
