- You will play a crucial role in creating visually engaging and impactful content across various CRM channels (including Mail, Push and WhatsApp), with a primary focus on digital platforms, across organic & paid media. You will work closely with the marketing team to convey Virgin Active’s brand identity and message through compelling and creative design work. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the overall success of the brand’s digital marketing efforts.
- Work as part of a global creative studio, with ability to pick up and respond to briefs from South Africa and beyond.
Your Duties and Responsibilities…
- Design and develop highly impactful content for various marketing campaigns, across any and all digital channels.
- Ensure that all design output aligns to Virgin Active’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across different channels.
- Create eye-catching and shareable content for Virgin Active’s Paid media platforms (e.g., Google, Meta, Instagram) to drive acquisition and member retention.
- Collaborate closely with the web development team to design and update web elements, landing pages, and online assets to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
- Work as an extension of the CRM (Member Engagement) team to understand their objectives and create work that delivers maximum impact.
- Plugged into digital and performance trends and industry best practices, proactively bringing innovative ideas to the table for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign goals and objectives, translating them into compelling design solutions that drive results.
We can’t live without… (Minimum Requirements)
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 4 years in a digital designer role
- Strong portfolio showcasing work across digital platforms and medial channels
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Attention to detail and a strong creative eye.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
