This elite technical role manages high-RPM digital sentiment data and ensures 100% compliance with electoral communication integrity standards. Utilizing AWS for scalable data analytics and specialized monitoring platforms, the analyst minimizes operational risk in national democratic processes. Their work leverages data-driven insights to neutralize disinformation and ensures the institutional integrity of the electoral communication landscape.
- Following the unprecedented scale of disinformation campaigns during the 2024 general elections, the IEC requires frontline defence specialists to protect electoral integrity for the 2026 LGE.
- Working closely with the Digital Engagement team, you’ll monitor digital spaces for false information, coordinate rapid-response factual content, and liaise with external stakeholders to address serious disinformation threats to South African democracy.
