Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a related Marketing or Digital diploma/degree.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 3 year’s relevant working experience gained in Digital Marketing
- Experience in E-commerce & social media management
- Knowledge of working with website maintenance and social media platforms is essential.
- Knowledge of digital paid media platforms
- Driver’s license and own vehicle is required as traveling may be required to local suppliers.
- Proficiency in the latest Google Suit
- Knowledge of the Shopify system (advantageous)
- Managing a budget
- Excellent language skills (verbal and written) in English, and the ability to converse in a second official language would be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Excellent time management, organizational and administrative skills and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the E-commerce (online) store for the brand:
- Managing the product inflows of the online store
- Managing and implementing the visuals on the website; ensuring the monthly campaign updates happen on time, as per critical path
- Tracking & analyzing online sales and reporting feedback to relevant stakeholders Collaborating with other stakeholders & departments ie. web developers, customer service, planners, Ecommerce DC to ensure the online store runs optimally
- Overseeing any ad-hoc projects or new concepts the business agrees to trial online. (e.g 3D integration, new products ( A+ integration) ,POPIA, etc.)
- Basic administrative duties to support e-commerce and website maintenance.
Campaign Management:
- Execute, Implement and track all digital marketing campaigns as per agreed promotional calendar ( social media, Google, YouTube, emailers, sms, A+)
- Ensuring the campaigns are run within the agreed budget and timelines
- Optimizing digital activities to ensure we get the most out of our campaigns
- Tracking, analyzing and reporting feedback to relevant stakeholders
Community Management:
- Ensure customer queries received from digital platforms are responded to in a brand-appropriate manner and within the agreed time frame.
- Overseeing the scheduling of posts, copywriting & customer engagement.
Content Creation:
- Overseeing the entire content creation process from
- Drafting the brief(s) for the content creation department;
- Coordinate the online direction presentations, the planning of it and the execution thereof.
- Overseeing the process of working with influencers
Responsible for the entire digital footprint of the brand:
- Review and investigate any new digital-related products
- Assist with and get involved with any Special projects which may arise which affect the digital platforms of the brand.
- Stakeholder Relationships and Management
Internal
- Acting as the interface between departments
- Supply users with skills and knowledge of processes related to digital platforms
- Partner with internal business functions to support them with decision-making.
- Willingness to share knowledge within the broader Speciality Group
- Share knowledge with internal business areas through partnering with relevant stakeholders
- Build and maintain good relationships with all business units
- Drive consistent business processes between Speciality brands.
External
- Manage relationships and build good relations with group and external service providers
- Negotiations with suppliers and service providers
