Job Description
- Support, Initiate and drive the development of the OTOT strategy and support its execution across the business and translate into tangible IT strategies which can be treated into, initiatives, programmes, and solutions
- Support OT Reporting through relevant channels
- Act as strategic advisor to Business units to provide expert specialised IT OT advice and useful technical insights to help make the best decisions about executing our business strategy
- Create a schedule for analysis, implementation, and testing of the technology
- Determine business needs and identifying weaknesses from a technological perspective
- Provide input to the annual IT and OT budgeting and planning process
- Analyse technical data and trends to provide actionable insights
- Identify and understand business challenges whilst proposing and creating solutions
- Develop business cases for digitalisation initiatives
- Implement digital solutions
- Provide training and support to users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of digital solution
- Oversee the broader tams coordination and managing in maintaining an effective internal control environment, compliance with policies and documentation for audits
- Meet with and advice senior executives throughout the technological consultation process
- Act as a business partner to the business teams by providing scenario planning and strategic recommendations to the business
- Develop, continuously review, and implement policies and procedures for the OT function
- Stay up to date on industry practices and trends in the field of technology and innovation by keeping abreast of new technologies, regulation and best practices
- Ensure optimal and informative decision, adherence to quality standards and seamless integration of technology
- Minimise risk and ensure compliance with internal Health & Safety policies, processes and regulatory standards
- Support adherence to big data best practices
Qualifications & Experience
- B Com in Information Technology or Information Science OR BSc Computer Science or Information Systems OR BEng Industrial Engineering.
- Any other relevant technology degree or postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- 8-10 years’ experience with in-depth project management experience.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Business analysis, Technology Architecture and Solution Architecture.
- Experience in IT system Implementation.
- Experience in HCM, Finance, Marketing, Sales & Service, Supply Chain & Manufacturing Platforms.
- Understanding of AI, Machine learning, RPA, Chatbots, Blockchain, IOT
- Experience of working with DevOps, Bimodals IT, Data and Cloud Technologies.
