Director, Finance Business Partnering
- We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking finance leader to shape how the organisation turns data into decisions—and decisions into measurable value.
- This role leads the enterprise Finance Business Partnering (FBP) agenda, ensuring that our leaders receive clear insights, strong commercial challenge, and reliable support to deliver high-impact outcomes.
- You will design and run the FBP operating model, embed cost leadership, strengthen performance management, and build a high-performing team that acts as the Executive’s trusted “front door” for financial insight and decision support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Finance Business Partnering function, building and coaching a high-performing team.
- Define standards, processes, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistent, decision-ready outputs across the organisation.
- Provide the Executive team with financial insight, challenge, and scenario analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Drive cost leadership initiatives, efficiency programmes, and benefits realisation across functions.
- Oversee forecasting, performance management, KPI frameworks, and budget processes.
- Standardise reporting, improve data accuracy, and automate routine processes to create a “single source of truth”.
- Partner with stakeholders across functions and geographies to enable informed, value-adding decisions.
- Lead transformation and change initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and realise intended benefits.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CIMA qualified.
- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Strategy, or Analytics (MBA/MCom) is advantageous.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including executive-level business partnering and team leadership.
- Proven impact in cost leadership, portfolio value realisation, and large-scale transformation.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and performance management expertise.
- Proficient in ERP/EPM systems and BI tools (SAP CO/FI, TM1/Planning Analytics, HFM, Workiva, Power BI, EPMWare).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience in multi-jurisdictional or complex organisational environments is desirable.
- Demonstrated impact in cost leadership, value realisation, and large-scale transformation.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions is beneficial.
