• Hire Resolve’s client, a reputable mining company in Gauteng, is currently looking for an experienced Drill and Blast Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Take an active role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment by following all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and operational guidelines.
• Lead by example to support safety initiatives and foster a strong safety culture within the team.
• Plan and carry out regular inspections to monitor safe work practices and overall operational performance, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Ensure effective team management by clearly outlining responsibilities and skill requirements, while supporting consistent and efficient team performance

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineer or related.
• Blasting Ticket/Rockbreaking Certificate for scheduled mines.
• 5 years’ experience in underground mechanized mining
• Extensive experience on Longhole stopping or similar bulk production drilling and charge-up operations.
• Valid Driver’s License
