• A family is looking for a EDUCATIONAL AU PAIR for their newborn and 4 year old 
• Area: Sunninghill
• Children’s Ages: newborn and 4 year old
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00
• Duties: Candidate will be required to assist with both children. The 4 year old will need educational support with care for the newborn while also assisting with general care, supervision and preparing simple meals and snacks. 
• 4 year old duties: structured, age-appropriate homeschooling throughout the day, following the existing curriculum/programme, planning and preparing daily educational activities, teaching foundational concepts such as early literacy and phonics, numbers and basic mathematics, fine and gross motor development, arts, crafts and creative activities, social and emotional development. Reading stories and encouraging language development
• Newborn duties: Assisting with full care of the baby (including bottles, sterilising equipment, food prep, baby laundry and keeping baby’s areas tidy) general supervision, meeting of age appropriate milestones with educational activities relevant to age (tummy time, reading, singing, talking, and play), managing wake windows, assisting with daily feeding and nappy changes.
• Special Requirements: 28 years old plus, female, ECD qualification or Education Degree (Foundation Phase), newborn experience 
• Start Date and contract term: January 2027 start - permanent contract with a December handover with the current Au Pair 
• Salary: R22 000 - R25 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 12 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
