Electrical Assistant needed at CFW Fans

The company employs a diverse workforce with a strong skill set in engineering.  We are currently seeking an Electrical Assistant to join our team and help maintain the high standards our clients expect. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Assisting with connecting of electrical single phase and three phase motors on a daily basis.
• Assisting with electrical test on various motors.
• Repair faulty lights, electrical grinders, electrical cord etc.
• Assisting with testing of industrial mine fans.
• Completion of required electrical reports
• Assisting with servicing of various type of Dehumidifiers
• Assisting with connecting motors on various voltage, Frequency, and program VFD as per motor name plate.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Proven experience in the electrical field.
• Grade 12 or Technical Matric
• Electrical engineering – N3
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Welding experience advantageous
• Experience in engineering field either HVAC / ventilation / fans or applications is advantageous
• Drivers license essential
