Electrical Project Engineer needed at Outsourcing Top Talent

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years proven experience in electrical arena
• Degree or National Diploma in applicable field advantageous
• South African Citizen
• Clear criminal record

Purpose of the Job:

• To give input and be the backup to the Instrumentation Engineer on the electrical aspects of the planned factory improvement CAPEX projects for this year.

Overview:

• Planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of electrical projects.
• Applying electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery, electrical control equipment, and circuitry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Developing electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Designing electrical systems by developing and testing components.
• Ensuring project completion by conducting electrical tests, observing and controlling systems’ performance.
• Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Keeping equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures, requesting repair service when necessary.
• Maintaining project database by writing computer programs, entering data, and completing backups.
• Preparing project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
