MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To provide electrical services  and perform maintenance, repairs and replacements on all electrical systems, infrastructure and equipment to locality

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Perform Technical jobs within Locality 
• Perform administration duties within the Technical function
• Identify and mitigate Technical risks within the Locality
• Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the Locality
• Maintain client and stakeholder relations within Technical function

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential:

• NQF level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subjects – Mathematics, Science or Industrial Electronics, or Electro-Technology or equivalent
• Trade Test Certification: Electrical (3-phase)
• Wireman’s licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase) or equivalent Namibian registration (if applicable)
• Code B driver’s licence with own reliable transport
• Desired: None

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• If registered Installation Electrician 3-phase: more than 5 years’ experience

Desired:

• More than 3 years’ of Mediclinic electrical experience
