Electronic Technician Intern needed at Rheinmetall Denel Munition

 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Provide assistance in Circuit fabrication (soldering, kitting, component verification, etc.)
• Support engineers and technicians in electronic hardware fabrication and assembly.
• Support data collection and analysis for system improvements, and reporting.
• Provide assistance in component procurement.
• Support Test and Evaluation Activities.
• Assist with the Manufacture of tooling and test items.
• Setup, operation and maintenance of test equipment.
• Adhere to all applicable legislation within RDM.
• Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE /Quality /Environmental/Energy.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

POST REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in prototyping & design of electronic hardware will be advantageous.
• Experience in 3D printing, CNC routing, and other CNC applications advantageous.
• High degree of responsibility and discipline.
• Good Planning and organizational abilities.
• Clear security screening.
• Basic knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) in the workplace.
• Computer literacy, specifically MS Excel and MS Word.
• Code B Driver’s License advantageous.
