Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) – Trichardt needed at MHR

• MHR is looking for experienced Emergency Care Assistants (ECA) to work part-time shifts (EVENTS and OPERATIONS) in Trichardt in Mpumalanga- province.

Requirements    

• Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care is essential
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers serves as an advantage
• 1-year operational experience as an Emergency Care Assistant
• A valid drivers’ license and valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) (Requirement for Operations shifts. If only going to work events, no PrDP required)

Required job skills and knowledge:

• Knowledge and application of best practice
• Knowledge of the EMS environment
• English language skills (verbal and written)
• Familiar with facilities, travel routes, and geographical area
• Knowledge and application of HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice
• Working knowledge and experience of Patient Report Forms
• Upholds high ethical and professional standards
• Follows instructions and adheres to procedures
• Works accurately and thoroughly by attending to detail
• Responds constructively to pressure and perseveres through challenges
• Collaborates with and supports colleagues in order to achieve shared goals
• Strives to identify and deliver on clients’ needs and a continued focus on the client experience
