Introduction
- MHR is looking for experienced Advanced Life Support Practitioners (ALS) / Emergency Care Practitioners (ECP) to work part-time shifts (OPERATIONS and EVENTS) in Ermelo in Mpumalanga province.

Requirements
- Professional registration with HPCSA as an ALS/Paramedic or Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP)
- A valid drivers’ license and valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) (Requirement for Operations shifts. If only going to work events, no PrDP required)
- Proven operational experience as a Paramedic or newly qualified Paramedic – 1 year’s ALS operational experience will be advantageous
- Sound knowledge of the EMS environment
- Knowledge and application of HPCSA guidelines and scope of practice
- Working knowledge and experience of Patient Report Forms
- Upholds high ethical and professional standards
- Responds constructively to pressure and perseveres through challenges
- Collaborates with and supports colleagues in order to achieve shared goals
- Reaches sound decisions through the evaluation of relevant information
- Strives to identify and deliver on patient’s needs and continuously focus on the patient experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Key Outputs
- Oversees and ensures operational readiness for emergency calls
- Administers patient care in line with scope of practice
- Liaison with trauma staff and doctors
- Provides basic shift administration services.
