A day in the life of an End-to-End Manager:

  • Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment.
  • Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures (e.g., PPE, shoe change & hand wash, LOTO, etc.)
  • Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
  • Ensure that the working areas and manufacturing lines/equipment are kept clean and are maintained in working order to ensure long term performance and compliance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP) based on NCE/TPM principles.
  • Fully utilize line members to produce good quality product by following production plan to ensure supply. Promote TDC reduction mindset among line members to reduce cost.
  • Manage Production effectively through operational reviews (SHO, SOR, DOR) and use Standard Routines (SDCA) to ensure sustainable results.  Use of Basic Problem-Solving tools and knowledge sharing (OPLs) to drive continuous improvements.
  • Ensure the identified development plan and assure the competencies of his/her team (incl. Temporary people) as per the agreed plan with Production Manager (proper training/coaching and assessment inc. equipment, safety procedures, hygiene).
  • Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (Line teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line). 
  • Manage planned maintenance activities execution and maintenance expenditure in respective line(s) areas to achieve line high performance/efficiency at lowest cost with the support of engineering.

What will make you successful?

  • Qualification: Relevant Tertiary qualification (Engineering/Manufacturing/Food Science).
  • 5 years relevant work experience in a functional role in food industry.
  • Demonstration of leadership ability by leading a project within a factory environment.
  • Good attitude to work and ability to interact with people.
  • College degree or practical experience of engineering, technology and science.
  • Demonstration of Leadership skills in positively confronting inappropriate behavior and using everyday coaching to ensure involvement of the workforce.
