Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Define and implement end-to-end solution architectures across front-end, middleware, and integration layers.
  • Create and govern reusable frameworks, design patterns, and reference architectures.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure solution alignment to overall enterprise strategy.
  • Modernize legacy ESP stacks into API-first, microservices-based architectures.
  • Ensure integration excellence seamless orchestration between systems via APIs, middleware, and event-driven designs.

Engineering Delivery

  • Guide front-end teams (React, modern JavaScript frameworks) and integration teams to build scalable, maintainable digital platforms.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into well-structured, executable solutions.
  • Oversee the technical implementation code reviews, design validations, and architectural sign-offs.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines, enforce DevOps practices, and ensure quality and performance standards.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead cross-functional teams through influence, design authority, and delivery excellence.
  • Coach developers, solution engineers, and analysts on architecture best practices.
  • Instill a culture of technical curiosity, rigor, and accountability.
  • Decipher nonsense bring clarity, focus, and practical thinking to complex challenges.

Strategic Impact

  • Contribute to digitalization strategy, shaping the technical roadmap for modernization.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Front-End: Strong experience with React, modern front-end frameworks, and design patterns.
  • Integration & Middleware: Solid understanding of APIs, microservices, message queues, and ESB/ESP modernization.
  • Data & Back-End: Proficiency in SQL, database design, and data integration.

Architecture:

  • Solution and Integration Architecture
  • Domain-driven design (DDD)
  • Event-driven architecture (EDA)
  • Cloud-native & distributed systems

Platforms & Tools:

  • Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP)
  • DevOps (CI/CD, containerization Docker, Kubernetes)
  • API gateways, middleware frameworks

Ideal Background

  • 7 – 10 years of experience across software engineering, architecture, and leadership roles.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms.
  • Strong mix of hands-on technical skills and high-level architectural design ability.
  • Experience in banking or financial services (preferred but not mandatory).
