Suitable candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Grade 12 
• COMSOC 1 & 2 
• SAMTRAC 
• Trade or Blasting Certificate 
• safety Management Degree (advantageous) 

Suitable candidate must have the following work experience:

• Five (5) years relevant experience, Isometrix Management System. 
• Presentation, Audit, and investigation skills
• Attention to details
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge on winders and shaft systems
• Computer literacy skills 

Your successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to: 

• Engineering Safety activities on site 
• Responsibilities for auditing MHSA and other legal requirements compliance of the organization including internal safety systems. 
• Overall safety and health performance of the mine. 
• Conduct legal compliance inspections reports 
• Ensure accident/incident investigations are conducted.
