About the Role

Enrolled Nurses provide hands-on rehabilitation care using platforms like SAP, Workday, and ServiceNow, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

  • The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse and Unit Manager.

Requirements

  • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Compliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse and all applicable health care legislation
  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
  • A certificate in Enrolled Nursing  

Work Experience

  • Relevant experience in nursing discipline would be an advantage
  • Three or more years of experience in a private hospital

Knowledge

  • Computer Literacy
  • Ensure that all documentation is maintained timeously and accurate, reflecting patent care
  • Maintain a therapeutic, clean and safe environment that is free from medico-legal hazards
  • Contribute to the holistic care of patients
  • Participate in ward/unit’s quality improvement programme
  • Attend handover of report at shift commencement
  • Effective communication with patients regarding their care
  • Promotion of overall patient health and wellbeing
  • Refer all complaints from patients and doctors to sister-in-charge of the unit
  • Carry out all departmental duties as assigned by supervisors and ensure timeous completion of all delegated tasks

Career Growth & Education

Degrees or diplomas in Nursing, with certifications in Rehabilitation, Patient Safety, or Leadership, enhance career development. Specialization can lead to senior nursing roles.

Salary & Financial Insight

Estimated monthly salary ranges from ZAR 28,000 to ZAR 42,000. Financial planning including investment and insurance ensures long-term security.
