Enrolled Nurse Job at Lenmed Private Hospitals

Main Focus Areas

• The Enrolled Nurse will be responsible for direct or indirect nursing care of patient or group of patients and will function under the direct or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse/ shift leader.

Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

• Practice patient care according to Lenmed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and assume responsibility and accountability for these activities under direct supervision of your senior.
• Carry out all unit related duties as assigned by Supervisors.
• Promote and maintain good public relations with all stakeholders.
• Attend handover sessions and unit managers.
• Refer any queries to the Supervisor/ shit leader.
• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act).
• Report faulty equipment.
• Act within his/her scope.

Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse
• Compliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nursing and all applicable Health Care Legislations
• Computer Literate
• Flexible in working hours/ shifts
• Basic Life Support course by an accredited service provider.
• Relevant experience in ICU
